Dosage:
Hypertension
- Usual starting dose: 1 tablet once daily
- Maximum:
- 2 tablets 50/12.5 daily OR
- 1 tablet 100/25 daily
- Full effect after ~3 weeks
Severe hypertension
- Start 50/12.5 once daily
- May increase after 2–4 weeks if needed
Renal impairment
- Use if creatinine clearance >30 mL/min
- Not recommended in severe impairment
Hepatic impairment
- Not recommended for dose titration
Can be taken with or without food.

Alcohol, barbiturates → orthostatic hypotension
