Uses:

  • Relief of mild to moderate pain (e.g. headache, toothache, musculoskeletal pain)

  • Fever reduction

  • Migraine and tension headaches

  • Pain associated with colds or flu

Dosage:

  • Adults and children ≥12 years: 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed.

  • Do not exceed the recommended daily dose (follow product label).

  • Take with water, preferably after food to reduce stomach irritation.

Side Effects:

  • Gastric irritation, heartburn, nausea, or vomiting

  • Increased risk of bleeding or bruising (aspirin effect)

  • Nervousness, insomnia, palpitations (caffeine)

  • Allergic reactions (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty)

  • Liver toxicity with excessive paracetamol use

Warnings & Precautions:

  • Avoid use with other paracetamol- or aspirin-containing medicines.

  • Use cautiously in patients with peptic ulcer disease, bleeding disorders, asthma, liver disease, or kidney impairment.

  • Limit caffeine intake from other sources.

  • Avoid alcohol while using this medicine.

  • Not recommended for children with viral infections due to risk of Reye’s syndrome (aspirin component).

  • Prolonged use should be under medical supervision.

Pregnancy & Lactation:

  • Avoid during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester (aspirin risk).

  • Use only if clearly necessary and advised by a healthcare professional.

  • Aspirin and caffeine pass into breast milk; caution in breastfeeding.

Drug Interactions:

  • Anticoagulants and antiplatelet drugs (increased bleeding risk)

  • NSAIDs and corticosteroids (increased GI irritation)

  • Alcohol (increased liver and stomach toxicity)

  • Methotrexate, warfarin, and other highly protein-bound drugs

  • Stimulants or high caffeine intake (additive CNS effects)

Contraindications:

  • Hypersensitivity to paracetamol, aspirin, caffeine, or salicylates

  • Active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding

  • Severe liver or kidney impairment

  • Bleeding disorders

  • Children and adolescents with viral infections

  • Aspirin-induced asthma or salicylate sensitivity
