Dosage:

Adults: 10 mL three times daily
Children 6–12 years: 5–10 mL three times daily
Children 2–6 years: 5 mL three times daily

Side Effects:

Common:

• Tremors

• Palpitations

• Nausea or vomiting

Less common:

• Muscle cramps

Rare but serious:

• Severe allergic reactions

• Significant tachycardia

Warnings & Precautions:

• Not suitable for dry cough.

• Use cautiously in heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, and hyperthyroidism.

• Avoid combining with other bronchodilators unless prescribed.

• Seek medical advice if cough persists >7 days or is accompanied by fever or breathing difficulty.

Pregnancy & Lactation:

Drug Interactions:

• Beta-blockers (reduce salbutamol effect)
