Each uncoated tablet contiains:
Diclofenac potassium BP 50mg
Chlorzoxazone USP 250mg
Paracetamol BP 500mg

Mode of action
Diclofenac
Diclofenac potassium gets rapidly absorbed into the systemic circulation with quick attainment of peak plasma concentrations. This leads to a fast onset of action, thus making drug suitable for use in acute cases, where inflammation & pain are predominant. Its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis is responsible for its anti-inflammatory activity, as well as its efficacy in relieving pain related to inflammatory condition. The onset of analgesia begins as early as 15 mins, & relief of pain lasts as long as 8 hours.
Chlorzoxazone
It is a centrally-acting skeletal muscle relaxant with sedative properties. It is rapidly & completely absorbed. It is used as an adjuvant in the symptomatic treatment of musculoskeletal conditions associated with painful muscle spasm.
Paracetamol
The analgesic and antipyretic actions of paracetamol are similar to those of the salicylates. Analgesia is mediated peripherally and also centrally where antipyresis is produced by a central action on th hypothalamic regulatory center. It is rapidly and almost completely absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract.

Dosage:
Usual dosage; 1 tablet thrice a day. Dosage not suitable for children below 14 years.
Side Effects:
Doloct mr is generally well tolerated, epigastric pain, nausea, diarrhea, peripheral edema & skin reactions such as drun rash, urticaria & eczema have been observed in a few cases.
Warnings & Precautions:
Peptic ulcer and asthma.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use of systemic NSAIDs during late pregnancy may lead to delayed labour and premature closure of ductus arteriosus. It has also been found in the milk of nursing mothers, thus it is not recommended in late pregnancy and in nursing mothers.
