Rupatidine
Rupatidine is a second-generation antihistamine, long-acting histamine antagonist, with selective peripheral H1-receptor antagonist property. Some of the metabolites (desloratidine and its hydroxylated metabolites) retain an antihistaminic activity and may partially contribute to the overall efficacy of the drug.

Uses:
It is indicated for symptomatic relief of seasonal allergic rhinitis, skin itching, runny nose, sneezing itchy eyes, asthma, hay fever; exercise induces asthma, chronic asthma, and perennial allergic rhinitis.
Dosage:
The recommended dose is one tablet once a day, with or without food for adults and adolescents.
Side Effects:
Fatigue, dry mouth, headaches, drowsiness, dizziness, weakness, trouble sleeping, elevated levels of liver enzymes, restlessness irritability.

Consult a doctor if you have renal or hepatic insufficiency
Do not drive or operate heavy machinery

Not recommended for prevention of exercise induced bronchospasm
